This thermal fuse is a manufacturer-approved replacement part for your oven. In the event of a power surge or overheating, the thermal fuse will protect the controls from damage. Replacing the blown fuse is an easy repair and involves removing the top of the oven to swap out the fuse. Make sure to disconnect the power source to the oven before beginning this repair.

This part will trip when the controls for the oven are not working properly and the temperature in the oven cavity gets too hot. It will cut off the power to the elements. Once the part trips, it cannot be reset will need to be replaced. The thermostat is in the back of the oven. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the oven before you start your repair.

The thermostat will trip when the controls for the oven are not working and the temperature within the oven cavity gets too hot.
