This dryer drum belt is 88 3/4 inches long, and is 1/4 inch wide. The belt attaches to the motor pulley and helps rotate the drum as the motor rotates. If the drum does not rotate and you can still hear the motor running, the belt may have broken and will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. The drain pump is what your washer uses to remove the water from the tub. The pump helps expel water from the washing machine and is activated after the spin speed is maintained for a specific period. If your washer will not drain, is noisy, leaking, or has a burning smell, you may need to replace the drain pump. This pump has 120 volts, 60 hz and is a genuine OEM part. The white drum glide supports the drum on the front side and helps rotate smoothly and quietly while operating. If your dryer won’t tumble or is noisy, the drum glide may be worn down causing a metal on metal noise. Your dryer requires two glides; it is recommended to replace both glides at the same time. The two-terminal high limit thermostat has a limit of 260 degrees Fahrenheit and acts as a safety mechanism that keeps the dryer from overheating. The thermostat will cut out when the internal dryer temperature reaches 260 and then cuts back in when the temperature drops by 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
