If your element will not heat at all, or if it is not heating properly, it is likely an issue with the terminal block and it will need to be replaced. This part is a genuine OEM part. This infinite switch knob is two inches in diameter. It is black in color and is made of plastic. This knob is an inch tall, and it accepts a 'D' shaped shaft. There is no indicator line for this knob, but there is white lettering denoting the off, high, and low positions. It is also numbered 2 through 9 in white lettering.

This standard Y-frame 6” surface element is a genuine OEM part that supplies heat to the cooking surface on your range. It has four turns, a black center medallion, looped terminal ends and carries 15000 tts. If your element is not heating, you may need to replace it. Please be sure to disconnect the power to your range before starting your repair. The manufacturer suggests replacing the receptacle at the same time.

This infinite switch for eight inch range burners is almost three inches long. This infinite switch is for 8-inch range burners. When an element is unable to produce any heat on a modern oven, the problem may lie with the infinite switch. This switch is responsible for sending power to the surface elements. Check the element and terminal block to ensure they are working properly. If they are in working order, check the infinite switch at the control panel for any wires that have overheated, or broken terminals to or from the infinite switch. If the infinite switch is damaged or malfunctioning, it will need to be replaced. Remember to unplug your range before beginning this repair.
