This clear convertible meat drawer can be used to store meats or vegetables. It has its own cold air duct to allow cold air from the freezer to flow into the drawer. You could have a broken or faulty drawer if you find that the food being kept within is spoiling or drying out quickly. The drawer should slide open and closed with ease. If your drawer will not easily slide open or closed, check the tracks that the drawer slides on. If the tracks are not damaged, the drawer itself could be at fault and should be replaced. The door cam helps keep the door closed in the correct position. The cam is mounted around the door pivot point and is made up of a series of ridges and valleys to help keep the door in position. When you open the door, the cam will raise the door ever so slightly, then drop down into another valley to hold the door open. Then as you close the door again, just before the seal contacts the cabinet, the door will fall into another valley helping to hold the door closed. If your refrigerator uses a door closer, the door should shut all by itself. This part is black in color and made of plastic. This is a genuine OEM part.

This is a replacement dairy compartment door for your refrigerator. The dairy compartment door opens and closes to allow access to the dairy items stored in the refrigerator door. Because it is made of clear plastic, the door can occasionally become cracked and broken. When the door is cracked, it will need to be replaced.
