The door cam helps keep the door closed in the correct position. The cam is mounted around the door pivot point and is made up of a series of ridges and valleys to help keep the door in position. When you open the door, the cam will raise the door ever so slightly, then drop down into another valley to hold the door open. Then as you close the door again, just before the seal contacts the cabinet, the door will fall into another valley helping to hold the door closed. If your refrigerator uses a door closer, the door should shut all by itself. This part is black in color and made of plastic. This is a genuine OEM part.

This genuine Whirlpool water filter is used in your refrigerator to help reduce contaminants that may be in your household water supply. The water filter measures 2 1/2” in diameter and 10 1/2” long and is in the filter housing inside of your refrigerator. It is recommended to replace the water filter every 6 months for best performance. This water filter will fit all Whirlpool and KitchenAid refrigerators with a water filter located in the base grill below the door. Also, for Kenmore models starting with 106. This fan motor is used in frost-free refrigerators with a condenser coil. When the compressor runs, so does this fan, circulating air through the refrigerator grille, to cool the compressor and condenser coils. This fan motor also helps to evaporate excess water in the drain pan. This kit includes the motor, fan blade, wire harness, and screw. If your refrigerator/freezer section is too warm you may need to replace this part. This part has been updated by the manufacturer. It may look different in appearance but will still function the same as the original part. This is a genuine OEM part. Disconnect power to your refrigerator before starting the repair.
