This thermal fuse is used in dryers as a safety mechanism that stops the flow of electricity to the motor circuit when a dryer overheats. This replacement part features two 3/16 inch terminals, and is sold individually. When this fuse is faulty, your dryer will not start or it will not heat properly. This is a one-time fuse, meaning it cannot be re-set. It must be replaced when there is no longer continuity between the terminals. It attaches to the blower wheel housing. Blown fuses can be caused by clogged dryer vents. We recommend checking to make sure all of the vents are clear when you perform this repair.

This 3-wire with leads dryer door switch is an on and off mechanism that prevents the dryer from operating while the door is open. The dryer will not operate until the door switch signals that the dryer door is closed. If the dryer won’t start, the lever broke off, or the switch shorted out, the appliance will not operate and the part will need to be replaced. The cycling thermostat with an internal bias heater will continually cycle the heating element off and on to maintain a constant inner temperature in the dryer. This cycling thermostat has a limit of 155 degrees Fahrenheit and a differential of 25 degrees. Meaning that the heating element will cut out at 155 degrees and cycle back on once the internal temperature drops by 25 degrees. This is a genuine OEM part. The newer version of the coupler kit is made with new metal sleeves for added strength. This part is located between the motor and transmission on the direct drive washer that does not have a belt. The coupler will break to protect the motor from damage if the drive motor system seizes up. If your washer will not fill, will not agitate or spin, but it will drain the water from the tub, you may need to replace this part because it has failed. This is a genuine OEM part. Disconnect the power to your washer before starting the repair.
