The broil element is located on the roof of the oven cavity to supply heat for broiling. The element measures approximately 13 1/2-inch wide,19-inch long and 3000 watts. If the broil element is no longer heating or it has shorted out, then you will need to replace your broil element. Please remember to disconnect the power to the oven before starting your repair. The terminal block provides a way of connecting individual electrical wires and offers protection from electrical surges, voltages and currents. This part will also allow you to attach the power cord to the inner wiring of your range. If the terminal block has shorted out or the range is not getting the proper power, this part will need to be replaced.
