The run capacitor is attached to the compressor. This part helps the compressor kick on and off while maintaining a constant temperature to keep things frozen in your freezer. If your refrigerator is too warm, will not start, or your freezer section is too warm, you may need to replace this part. This is a genuine OEM part. The freezer gasket provides an air tight seal between the lid and the freezer, to keep warm air from entering. If your freezer is too warm, there is frost build up, or the gasket is torn, you may need to replace the freezer gasket because the freezer will need to work harder to cool down.
