This single white drum bearing slide attaches to the outer-most sides of the bearing to help support the front of the drum as it rotates. If your dryer is making loud noises or the drum will not tumble, you many need to replace the slides. The manufacturer recommends replacing both slides at the same time; there are 2 slides per dryer. This is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure to disconnect power to the dryer before starting your repair.

The drum support bearing helps your dryer operate as quietly as possible by allowing the front of the drum to glide smoothly on the felt seal of the front panel when the drum is rotating. If your dryer is noisy or making a squeaking sound, the slides are probably worn and both slides will need to be replaced. This part measures 10-inches in height and 19 1/2-inches inside width. Four drum glides are used with the drum support bearing and are sold separately. The support bearing is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting your repair.

The duct felt seal allows the front of the drum to glide smoothly on the exterior panel while the drum is rotating. The seal is located between the back of the drum and the rear dryer panel. If the heat is escaping from the drum area causing the dryer to run too long or if there are marks on your clothes you many need to replace the duct felt seal. This is a genuine OEM part. This rear drum bearing kit comes with a shaft, bearing and installation instructions. The bearing plate comes with a slot in it for the ground strap. Over time the drum bearing will wear out, once it has the dryer may make some noise and the drum bearing will need to be replaced. The lint filter is used to collect lint and debris as it passes through the dryer vent. It is recommended to clean the lint filter before every load. If your dryer takes too long to dry, the lint filter frame becomes damaged or the filter has torn you may need to replace the lint filter. The frame is white in color. This is a genuine OEM part.
