This single white drum bearing slide attaches to the outer-most sides of the bearing to help support the front of the drum as it rotates. If your dryer is making loud noises or the drum will not tumble, you many need to replace the slides. The manufacturer recommends replacing both slides at the same time; there are 2 slides per dryer. This is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure to disconnect power to the dryer before starting your repair.

This rear drum bearing kit comes with a shaft, bearing and installation instructions. The bearing plate comes with a slot in it for the ground strap. Over time the drum bearing will wear out, once it has the dryer may make some noise and the drum bearing will need to be replaced. The idler pulley helps maintain the proper amount of tension on the drive belt to turn the drum. The idler pulley is located between the motor pulley and drum to provide tension on the belt. If the part has become worn, it could cause the dryer to be noisy or squeaky, and the pulley will need to be replaced. This part is yellow in color, made of plastic, and measures approximately 2 1/2” in diameter. This is a genuine OEM part.
