This clear 20-watt, 120-volt halogen light bulb is a replacement part for the bulb behind the top grill in your microwave. The light bulb is used on the inside of your microwave to provide light when the door is open, or below the microwave to provide light for the cooking area. This is a replacement grease filter for your microwave. Sometimes known as the air filter, this part fits underneath your microwave and catches grease. As a result, your grease filter can become clogged, and this is the part you will need to replace it. It measures approximately 7 inches by 7 inches. Most microwaves have two grease filters, but this part is sold individually.

The door interlock switch (normally closed) works in conjunction with your microwave operation. The switch will prohibit the microwave from starting when the microwave door is open. If your microwave won’t turn on or there is no heat you may need to replace the switch. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W, 250 volts, is black in color with a red dot and is sold individually. Please remember to disconnect the power before starting your repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

The secondary door switch, also known as a micro switch, works in conjunction with your microwave by monitoring the door latch position and sending communication to the electronic control board to let it know if the latch is open or closed. When the door is shut, the door switch will close to send power to the microwave to operate. If the microwave won’t start, the switch has failed, and the part will need to be replaced. You can test the switch for continuity. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W. Due to the high voltage capacitor in the microwave, it can retain a lethal electrical charge, even when unplugged, it is suggested to have a service technician install the part. Please disconnect power to the microwave before beginning the repair. This is a genuine OEM part.
