The two-terminal high limit thermostat has a limit of 260 degrees Fahrenheit and acts as a safety mechanism that keeps the dryer from overheating. The thermostat will cut out when the internal dryer temperature reaches 260 and then cuts back in when the temperature drops by 70 degrees Fahrenheit. If your dryer is not heating, you may need to replace the thermostat. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting your repair.

Over time the bearings can wear out, causing them to make a squeaking sound while the dryer drum turns. The manufacturer recommends replacing both rollers at the same time.
