This dryer drum belt has four ridges, three grooves, 1/4-inch wide and 92 1/4-inch long. The belt helps rotate the drum. If the drum does not rotate and you can still hear the motor running, the belt may have broken and will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to your dryer before starting the repair.

This thermal fuse is used in dryers as a safety mechanism that stops the flow of electricity to the motor circuit when a dryer overheats. This replacement part features two 3/16 inch terminals, and is sold individually. When this fuse is faulty, your dryer will not start or it will not heat properly. This is a one-time fuse, meaning it cannot be re-set. It must be replaced when there is no longer continuity between the terminals. It attaches to the blower wheel housing. Blown fuses can be caused by clogged dryer vents. We recommend checking to make sure all of the vents are clear when you perform this repair.

The cycling thermostat with an internal bias heater will continually cycle the heating element off and on to maintain a constant inner temperature in the dryer. This cycling thermostat has a limit of 155 degrees Fahrenheit and a differential of 25 degrees. Meaning that the heating element will cut out at 155 degrees and cycle back on once the internal temperature drops by 25 degrees. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting the repair.

This drive motor operates the dryer by turning the drive belt which spins the drum and will fit most Whirlpool incorporated dryer brands before 1996. If the motor has shorted out, it will no longer turn the drum and will need to be replaced. The drive motor includes the pulley that is not available separately. This is a genuine OEM part. This gas dryer ignition coil set comes with two ignition coils: one three-terminal boost/hold coil, and one two-terminal secondary coil. If there is no heat or your drying time is getting longer, the coils may be bad and will need to be replaced. Once the coils go bad they do not hold the gas valve open properly. Usually only one of them burns out but you should replace them as a set. Both must be operational for the gas valve to open. This is a genuine OEM part.
