The roller assembly attaches to the lower rack and allows you to move the lower dishrack in and out smoothly. If a roller becomes broken or damaged it will need to be replaced. This part releases the detergent and rinse aid into the dishwasher during the proper cycles. If your dishes are not cleaned properly or will not dispense detergent, you may need to replace this part.
