It is recommended to clean the lint filter before every load to clear the air flow through the lint filter. This 3-coil 5500 watts heating element with housing is used to produce heat to dry the clothes in your dryer. The heating element is strung with a coiled wired. The wire receives, but resists a controlled electric current causing the wire to heat up to dry your clothes. If there is no heat or it is taking too long to dry, you may need to replace the heating element. Check for a blown thermal fuse or thermal cut off. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting the repair.
