The defrost timer acts like a clock, continually advances and alternates between activating the cooling cycle and the defrost heater. If the refrigerator is too warm, the freezer section is too warm, or the freezer is not defrosting, you might need to replace the defrost timer. This defrost timer is a genuine OEM part. Disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting the repair.

If your refrigerator or freezer is too warm or making noises, you may need to replace the fan blade. The fan blade attaches to the evaporator motor, which is in the freezer section, to help circulate the cold air into the refrigerator and freezer sections.
