This rear drum bearing kit includes one bearing, one ball shaft, one ball bearing, one ball bearing retainer, a small tube of high temperature lubricant, and installation screws. The support bearing helps support the dryer drum to rotate quietly and smoothly during operation. The bearing attaches on the inside of the rear panel of the dryer cabinet. The white drum glide supports the drum on the front side and helps rotate smoothly and quietly while operating. If your dryer won’t tumble or is noisy, the drum glide may be worn down causing a metal on metal noise. Your dryer requires two glides; it is recommended to replace both glides at the same time. The drum glide is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting your repair.

The two-terminal high limit thermostat has a limit of 260 degrees Fahrenheit and acts as a safety mechanism that keeps the dryer from overheating. The thermostat will cut out when the internal dryer temperature reaches 260 and then cuts back in when the temperature drops by 70 degrees Fahrenheit. If your dryer is not heating, you may need to replace the thermostat. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting your repair.
