The drawer roller is used for your trash compactor. The roller attaches to the bottom of the lower frame to allow the container drawer to slide in and out easily. If the roller jams up, it can keep the drawer from opening correctly and you may need to replace the roller. This part measures approximately 1” in diameter and is sold individually. This part is located at the bottom of your compactor and helps the drive motor power the compacting ram. If the drive gear is broken, damaged, or noisy, we suggest replacing it right away to avoid causing any more issues with your trash compactor. This kit includes the gears, washers, retainer clip, ram stop, and ram cam. This drive gear kit is a genuine OEM part, is white in color and made from plastic. Spray paint is designed to help cover up any scratches or chips on your appliances. This spray pant is white in color and comes in a 12 oz aerosol can. Please make sure to clean the area that requires touch up to avoid any old paint or dirt getting into the fresh paint. When using the spray paint it is recommended to wear gloves and a protective mask. Make sure to shake the can well before using and to spray a few inches away from the surface for best results. Please wait until the paint is dried before using the appliance. This is a genuine OEM part.

This rotary on/off switch kit comes with an on-off rotary switch and two chrome knobs. The switch is used to power the trash compactor. Once activated, the switch will send a voltage signal to the motor to start the compacting cycle. If your trach compactor will not start or does not stop at the end of the compacting cycle, the switch may need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the trash compactor before starting your repair.

If your trash compactor ram gets stuck or does not stop at the end of the compacting cycle you may need to replace the power nut. The power nut is intended for use with trash compactors. This part is attached to the side of the ram where it is threaded. When the power screw rotates, it is fed through the power nut which pulls the ram down to compress the trash. This power nut is white in color and made from plastic. Please remember to disconnect the power to the trash compactor before starting your repair.

The drive motor operates the trash compactor press, also known as a ram, that helps compact the trash. When in use the drive motor will activate the press by turning the gears and a chain, causing it to lower into the trash, compact it and then raise back up. If your compactor is noisy or not compacting, you may need to replace the motor. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the trash compactor before starting the repair.
