The refrigerator light switch turns the interior light off and on when you open or close the refrigerator door. The light switch also prevents the front dispenser from working if the refrigerator door is opened. If the switch has shorted out or the light bulb is not turning on when the door is open, you may need to replace the switch. This is the replacement lower vegetable pan for your refrigerator. It is made of clear plastic and is approximately 18 1/2" deep by 16.6" wide and 12 1/2" high. The vegetable pan slides into the bottom of the refrigerator shelf and is used to store vegetables and other food items. The main reason to replace the vegetable pan is if yours is cracked, damaged, or missing. To replace the vegetable pan, simply slide the old pan out, and slide the new one into place. This orange rubber bumper prevents the condenser fan motor from bumping against the mounting bracket every time the fan motor starts. If your refrigerator/freezer is noisy, the bumper could be worn down or missing, and the sound could be a result of the motor scraping the side bracket. You will find it between the fan motor and the side bracket on the evaporator fan motor assembly. It has a rounded top and a slightly pointed bottom. This part is the replacement drawer slide rail for your refrigerator. The crisper draw will slide in and out along this rail. If the rail is damaged or missing, the crisper will either hang from one side, or it will not stay in place at all. The drawer slide rail is for the right side of the drawer only, so be sure to check that you are replacing the correct drawer rail.
