This rear drum bearing kit comes with a shaft, bearing and installation instructions. The bearing plate comes with a slot in it for the ground strap. Over time the drum bearing will wear out, once it has the dryer may make some noise and the drum bearing will need to be replaced. This kit will help keep your dryer running as smoothly as possible with as little noise as possible. This is a genuine OEM part. This is a replacement lint filter slide for your dryer. It is approximately 14 inches long and 5 inches wide. It is made of white plastic and is sold individually. The slide mounts to your dryer and allows the lint filter to slide out for cleaning. If your lint filter will not slide out properly, you may need to replace the slide. This part is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

The idler pulley helps maintain the proper amount of tension on the drive belt to turn the drum. The idler pulley is located between the motor pulley and drum to provide tension on the belt. If the part has become worn, it could cause the dryer to be noisy or squeaky, and the pulley will need to be replaced. This part is yellow in color, made of plastic, and measures approximately 2 1/2” in diameter. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting the repair.

TThe door strike for your dryer is mounted on the dryer frame that the door shuts onto. It fits into the door catch on the door and keeps the door closed. If the door strike is damaged or missing, the door will not lock properly and not only will this cause the door to swing open, but it won’t allow the dryer to start properly. It is a small piece of metal, about 1 inch in length and is sold individually.

This part is the replacement high-limit thermostat or safety thermostat for your dryer. The high-limit thermostat is found on the upper right-hand side of the heater housing, and it cuts off power to the dryer motor if the temperature reaches an unsafe level. If you push the start button and nothing happens, the high-limit thermostat should be tested for continuity and replaced if the contacts are open. Be sure to disconnect power to the dryer before you begin this repair. This part is sold individually and is an OEM part.
