This NSF-certified water filter helps to improve the taste, quality, and health of your water by removing a number of contaminants including mercury, lead, and trace pharmaceuticals. The temperature sensor, also known as a thermistor, helps detect the temperature inside the refrigerator and sends the information to the control board. If your refrigerator is too warm or not cooling properly, you may need to replace the temperature sensor. This is a genuine OEM part.
