The cold control thermostat helps maintain the proper temperature. When the refrigerator reaches the desired temperature, this part interrupts the flow of electricity to the compressor which stops the cooling process. If the refrigerator is too warm you may need to replace the control thermostat. This part has a temperature range from 29.5 degrees Fahrenheit to 16.5 degrees Fahrenheit and a capillary length of 35 inches. This is a genuine OEM part.
