The temperature sensor, also known as a thermistor, helps detect the temperature inside the refrigerator and sends the information to the control board. If your refrigerator is too warm or not cooling properly, you may need to replace the temperature sensor. This is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting your repair.

This orange rubber bumper prevents the condenser fan motor from bumping against the mounting bracket every time the fan motor starts. If your refrigerator/freezer is noisy, the bumper could be worn down or missing, and the sound could be a result of the motor scraping the side bracket. You will find it between the fan motor and the side bracket on the evaporator fan motor assembly. It has a rounded top and a slightly pointed bottom. The bumper is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

The compression ring works for a variety of fans throughout your refrigerator, the evaporator fan or condenser fan. If you notice your refrigerator or freezer is too warm, or there is an unusual sound during operation you may need to replace the compression ring. This part is made of metal, measures approximately 0.25” L x 0.5” in diameter, and is sold individually. This is a genuine OEM part.
