It is specially designed to withstand extreme temperatures, so this bulb is compatible with a variety of appliance types including refrigerators, ranges, microwaves, and dryers. It features a frosted glass bulb with a standard metal socket base, which allows you to easily unscrew the burnt-out light and twist the new bulb into place. Depending on your appliance, there may be a guard or cover protecting the lightbulb, in which case you may require additional tools to remove the cover. This is a replacement haliant element for your cooktop or range. It is used with flat top ranges, and is found under the glass top of the range. This element is approximately 12 inches in diameter and is sold individually. The haliant surface element supplies the heat needed to the top of the cooktop. If your burner is not lighting up when it is turned on, you may have an issue with the haliant surface element. Be sure to disconnect power to the range before you begin this repair. To replace the element, remove the screws holding the cooktop in place, then remove it. Then, remove the screws holding the burner in place, disconnect the wires and replace the burner. Replace the cooktop and screw it back in to complete the repair.

The temperature sensor detects the temperature within the oven cavity. If your oven is too hot, not heating evenly, or has little to no heat when baking, you may need to replace the temperature sensor. The sensor is usually located in the back of the oven. This is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure to disconnect the power to your range before starting your repair.
