It is specially designed to withstand extreme temperatures, so this bulb is compatible with a variety of appliance types including refrigerators, ranges, microwaves, and dryers. The round style oven igniter ignites the gas to light the oven burner to produce heat for your range. The igniter measures approximately 3 1/2” in length and the amperage range is 2.5 to 3.0. If the element has shorted out, no longer glowing, or glowing but only orange or red when it needs to be white, you will need to replace the oven igniter. When replacing the igniter please be very careful not to touch the gray element part of the igniter as it is very fragile. This igniter can replace igniters for either the broil or bake burners; it does not replace the flat-style igniters. The igniter includes two high-temperature wire connectors. This is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure to disconnect the power and shut off the gas supply before starting your repair.
