The broil element with push-on terminals is located on the roof of the oven cavity to supply heat for broiling. If the element is no longer heating or has shorted out, you will need to replace your broil element. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power before starting your repair.

The temperature sensor, also known as an oven probe, detects the temperature within the oven cavity. This temperature sensor is a genuine OEM part. If your oven is too hot, not heating evenly, has little to no heat when baking, or is flashing F3/F4 error messages on your control board, you may need to replace it. Make sure to disconnect the power to your range before starting your repair.

The secondary door switch, also known as a micro switch, works in conjunction with your microwave by monitoring the door latch position and sending communication to the electronic control board to let it know if the latch is open or closed. When the door is shut, the door switch will close to send power to the microwave to operate. If the microwave won’t start, the switch has failed, and the part will need to be replaced. You can test the switch for continuity. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W. Due to the high voltage capacitor in the microwave, it can retain a lethal electrical charge, even when unplugged, it is suggested to have a service technician install the part. Please disconnect power to the microwave before beginning the repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

The door interlock switch (normally closed) works in conjunction with your microwave operation. The switch will prohibit the microwave from starting when the microwave door is open. If your microwave won’t turn on or there is no heat you may need to replace the switch. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W, 250 volts, is black in color with a red dot and is sold individually.
