The temperature sensor, also known as an oven probe, detects the temperature within the oven cavity. This temperature sensor is a genuine OEM part. If your oven is too hot, not heating evenly, has little to no heat when baking, or is flashing F3/F4 error messages on your control board, you may need to replace the temperature sensor. Please make sure to clean the area that requires touch up to avoid any old paint or dirt getting into the fresh paint. When using the spray paint it is recommended to wear gloves and a protective mask. Make sure to shake the can well before using and to spray a few inches away from the surface for best results. This part is the replacement door gasket for your oven. It is made of gray rubber and is sold individually. The door gasket runs along the circumference of the oven door and creates a seal that insulates the oven and keeps heat in. If your oven will not heat up properly, or if you notice that the door gasket has become loose or worn, it may need to be replaced. To replace the door gasket, you will need to remove the retaining bracket at the bottom of the oven door, then carefully pull the gasket away from the front of the oven cavity. Then, push the new gasket inside the groove on the outside of the oven cavity, securing it with the arrowhead fasteners that are built in to the oven cavity. This is an OEM part from the manufacturer.

The thermostat is used to establish and maintain the internal temperature within the oven cavity. The thermostat will trip when the controls for the oven are not working and the temperature within the oven cavity gets too hot. Once the thermostat trips it cannot be reset, it will need to be reset. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the oven before starting the repair.
