The door cam helps keep the door closed in the correct position. The cam is mounted around the door pivot point and is made up of a series of ridges and valleys to help keep the door in position. When you open the door, the cam will raise the door ever so slightly, then drop down into another valley to hold the door open. Then as you close the door again, just before the seal contacts the cabinet, the door will fall into another valley helping to hold the door closed. If your refrigerator uses a door closer, the door should shut all by itself. This part is black in color and made of plastic. This is a genuine OEM part.

The refrigerator uses a set of cams to help with the closing of the doors and help to keep them in position. This fan motor is used in frost-free refrigerators with a condenser coil. When the compressor runs, so does this fan, circulating air through the refrigerator grille, to cool the compressor and condenser coils. This fan motor also helps to evaporate excess water in the drain pan. This kit includes the motor, fan blade, wire harness, and screw. If your refrigerator/freezer section is too warm you may need to replace this part. This part has been updated by the manufacturer. It may look different in appearance but will still function the same as the original part. This is a genuine OEM part. Disconnect power to your refrigerator before starting the repair.

This evaporator fan motor is located in the back of the freezer, and circulates air over the refrigerator coils. These coils will convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated.
