This gas dryer ignition coil set comes with two ignition coils: one three-terminal boost/hold coil, and one two-terminal secondary coil. If there is no heat or your drying time is getting longer, the coils may be bad and will need to be replaced. Once the coils go bad they do not hold the gas valve open properly. Usually only one of them burns out but you should replace them as a set. Both must be operational for the gas valve to open. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to your dryer before starting the repair.

This dryer drum belt has five ridges, 93-3/8 inches in length, and 3/8 of an inch wide. It is flat, black in color, and is made entirely of rubber. The belt helps rotate the drum. If the drum does not rotate and you can still hear the motor running, the belt may have broken and will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. This part senses if the igniter is hot enough to ignite the flame for heat, allowing the gas valve to open. The sensor is three inches long and is used for many gas clothes dryers. If your dryer is not creating any heat, taking too long to dry or shuts off too soon, you may need to replace the flame sensor. This is a genuine OEM part and is made of both plastic and metal. This part is located between the drum support rollers and idler pulley in your dryer to help prevent the parts from bumping up against the brackets they are attached to. If your dryer has a burning smell, is noisy, or will not tumble, you may need to replace the thrust washer. The washer is 3/4 inches in diameter and a is genuine OEM part. It is recommended to disconnect the power to your dryer before you start your repair.
