The oven sensor detects the temperature within the oven cavity and sends the information to the control board. If your oven is not heating evenly, has little or no heat when baking, or is too hot, you may need to replace the sensor. This 6 Inch 1200-watt radiant surface element with limiter is located under the main cooktop. When the element is turned on, it will heat up and provide heat to the cooking area on top of the range. If your element will not supply heat you will need to replace it. When replacing the radiant surface element please make sure the element is cool to touch before starting the repair. Disconnect the power to your range before beginning the repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

This infinite switch for eight inch range burners is almost three inches long. This infinite switch is for 8-inch range burners. When an element is unable to produce any heat on a modern oven, the problem may lie with the infinite switch. This switch is responsible for sending power to the surface elements. Check the element and terminal block to ensure they are working properly. If they are in working order, check the infinite switch at the control panel for any wires that have overheated, or broken terminals to or from the infinite switch. If the infinite switch is damaged or malfunctioning, it will need to be replaced. Remember to unplug your range before beginning this repair.

The oven door gasket prevents heat from escaping the oven cavity when in use by creating a seal around the oven door. If your oven has little or no heat when baking, you may need to replace the gasket. This door gasket contains all the attaching clips needed for installation and is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure the oven is cool before installing the door gasket.
