If your standalone ice maker is making too much ice, not enough ice, or none, you may need to replace the bin thermostat. This part will sense how much ice is in the bin and decide if it should produce more or stop the production of ice. You can test the thermostat for continuity with an ohm meter. This part is made of metal and plastic and is white in color. This is a genuine OEM part.

The white door light switch is in the control panel section of your refrigerator. The light will turn on when you open the door. If the light doesn?t turn on when the door is open the contacts in the switch could be burnt out and will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. The recirculation pump helps circulate the water over the evaporator to form ice that will be cut into cubes for standalone ice makers. If your ice maker is no longer making ice or there is no water flowing over the plate, you may need to replace the pump. This is a genuine OEM part. This fan motor is used in frost-free refrigerators with a condenser coil. When the compressor runs, so does this fan, circulating air through the refrigerator grille, to cool the compressor and condenser coils. This fan motor also helps to evaporate excess water in the drain pan. This kit includes the motor, fan blade, wire harness, and screw. If your refrigerator/freezer section is too warm you may need to replace this part. This part has been updated by the manufacturer. The cutter grid is located within the main unit of the ice maker and contains thin, heated wires that slice the ice into cubes that are then deposited in the ice bin. If the cutter grid is broken, ice can back up within the ice maker. This part is sold as a complete assembly and is used with freestanding ice makers.
