This dryer drum belt has four ridges, three grooves, 1/4-inch wide and 92 1/4-inch long. The belt helps rotate the drum. If the drum does not rotate and you can still hear the motor running, the belt may have broken and will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. The cycling thermostat with an internal bias heater will continually cycle the heating element off and on to maintain a constant inner temperature in the dryer. This cycling thermostat has a limit of 155 degrees Fahrenheit and a differential of 25 degrees. Meaning that the heating element will cut out at 155 degrees and cycle back on once the internal temperature drops by 25 degrees. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting the repair.

This drive motor operates the dryer by turning the drive belt which spins the drum and will fit most Whirlpool incorporated dryer brands before 1996. If the motor has shorted out, it will no longer turn the drum and will need to be replaced. The drive motor includes the pulley that is not available separately. This is a genuine OEM part. This gas dryer ignition coil set comes with two ignition coils: one three-terminal boost/hold coil, and one two-terminal secondary coil. If there is no heat or your drying time is getting longer, the coils may be bad and will need to be replaced. Once the coils go bad they do not hold the gas valve open properly. Usually only one of them burns out but you should replace them as a set. Both must be operational for the gas valve to open. This is a genuine OEM part. This silicon carbide igniter with ceramic holder kit includes the 3-inch flat igniter, mounting bracket, 4-inch wire leads, and the plug. It can replace both round and flat igniters. This kit is used for many gas clothes dryers. This part ignites the gas within the dryer to heat the dryer during the cycle, so if your dryer takes too long to dry, has no heat or not enough heat, you may need to replace the igniter. Be sure to disconnect the power source from your dryer before you do this repair. The igniter is very fragile and should be handled with care.
