This 40-Watt light bulb is sold individually and is a genuine OEM replacement option for your home appliances. The temperature sensor, also known as a thermistor, helps detect the temperature inside the refrigerator and sends the information to the control board. If your refrigerator is too warm or not cooling properly, you may need to replace the temperature sensor. This is a genuine OEM part. The run capacitor is attached to the compressor and is 12 UF. It helps the compressor kick on and off while maintaining a constant temperature to keep things frozen in your freezer. This board controls the operation of the unit and is located on the back of the refrigerator. The defrost controls are built-in to the control board. If your refrigerator is too hot or cold, will not defrost, runs to long, or the ice maker will not work, you may need to replace the control board.
