The refrigerator light switch turns the interior light off and on when you open or close the refrigerator door. The light switch also prevents the front dispenser from working if the refrigerator door is opened. If the switch has shorted out or the light bulb is not turning on when the door is open, you may need to replace the switch. This switch is white in color and measures approximately 1 1/2” L x 1 1/4” W. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting the repair.

The temperature sensor, also known as a thermistor, helps detect the temperature inside the refrigerator and sends the information to the control board. This is the replacement door gasket with flap for your refrigerator. This door gasket is designed for use with a French door style refrigerator. Your refrigerator will have two door gaskets, and each is sold individually. It is black in color and is made of rubber. The door gasket runs along the circumference of each door and creates a seal. If the gasket is damaged or worn out, cold air can leak out of the refrigerator and warmer air can also leak in. To replace the gasket, you can simply pull the old one off the door, and carefully place the new one back into position, ensuring that the door closes properly afterwards.
