If your broil element is no longer heating or it has shorted out, you may need to replace it. You can use a multimeter to test the broil element for continuity. The three loop broil element is located on the roof of the oven cavity to supply heat for broiling. The element has push-on terminals and measures 12-inch wide and 19-inch long.
