This 8” plug in style surface burner element provides heat to the cooking surface of your range. The burner element has looped terminal ends, 2600 watts, and a 5-turn. If the burner element is not heating it could be the element or the burner switch. You can use a multimeter to test the element or the switch for continuity. This is a genuine OEM part; the manufacturer recommends replacing the burner receptacle when you replace the surface burner element. It has four turns, a black center medallion, looped terminal ends and carries 15000 tts. If your element is not heating, you may need to replace it.
