This 8” plug in style surface burner element provides heat to the cooking surface of your range. The burner element has looped terminal ends, 2600 watts, and a 5-turn. If the burner element is not heating it could be the element or the burner switch. You can use a multimeter to test the element or the switch for continuity. This is a genuine OEM part; the manufacturer recommends replacing the burner receptacle when you replace the surface burner element. This standard Y-frame 6” surface element is a genuine OEM part that supplies heat to the cooking surface on your range. It has four turns, a black center medallion, looped terminal ends and carries 15000 tts. If your element is not heating, you may need to replace it. Please be sure to disconnect the power to your range before starting your repair. The manufacturer suggests replacing the receptacle at the same time.
