When the compressor runs, so does this fan, circulating air through the refrigerator grille, cooling the compressor and condenser coils. The evaporator fan motor is in the back of the freezer section and circulates air over the refrigerator coils. These coils will convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated from the freezer section to the fresh food section. It is suggested to replace the thermistor when replacing the evaporator fan. This kit comes with two mounting grommets, two sleeves (not to be used on porcelain models), two #8 mounting screws, and a push-on fan blade. This is a genuine OEM part. This is the replacement evaporator drip tray for your refrigerator. It is made of white plastic and is approximately 19 inches by 9 inches. The evaporator drip tray sits below the evaporator to collect dripping water. If the drip tray is damaged, you may notice that your refrigerator is leaking. Because it is made of plastic, the drip tray can eventually develop a crack. You will need to pull out the refrigerator from the wall, and take off the bottom panel on the back of your refrigerator in order to access the drip tray for replacement. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.
