The temperature sensor, also known as an oven probe, detects the temperature within the oven cavity. This temperature sensor is a genuine OEM part. If your oven is too hot, not heating evenly, has little to no heat when baking, or is flashing F3/F4 error messages on your control board, you may need to replace the temperature sensor. Please make sure to disconnect the power to your range before starting your repair.

The inner door glass forms a see-through heat barrier inside the oven door. When your oven door is closed, this glass is the innermost piece of glass. The glass measures 10” x 20”. This includes the glass only. It is recommended to wait until the glass is cool to touch before starting the repair. Make sure to wear gloves to protect your hands in case the glass breaks while removing it from the door. This is a genuine OEM part.

The thermostat is used to establish and maintain the internal temperature within the oven cavity. The thermostat will trip when the controls for the oven are not working and the temperature within the oven cavity gets too hot.
