This part includes the black handle, latch, and 2 switches. The white handle is no longer available. The door latch is a simple on/off mechanism that prohibits the dishwasher from operating when the door is open. If your dishwasher will not start or will not close, you may need to replace the door latch. This is a genuine OEM part. The latch kit includes the latch and the snap. This part is used to keep the soap dispenser cover closed until activated. It is located on the inside of the door panel on the right side. If your dishwasher is not dispensing detergent, or the latch is broken or damaged, you may need to replace the latch kit. This is a genuine OEM part.
