When energized, the water inlet valve will release water from the supply line into the ice mold and the water dispenser in the refrigerator. If the ice maker is not making or dispensing ice, not dispensing water, or leaking, you may need to replace the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve is in the back section of your refrigerator and will need to be pulled out from the wall. Make sure to disconnect both the water and power supply before starting your repair.

This water inlet valve has two ports for water to enter. It is blue and is intended for use with many washing machines and comes with a multi-mount bracket and an outlet adaptor. The water inlet valve controls the water flow into your washer. If your washer is leaking, will not fill with water, has no hot/cold water, or will not stop filling with water, you may need to replace the valve. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to shut off the water supply and disconnect the power to the washer before you start the repair.

If the ice maker is not making/dispensing ice, not dispensing water, or leaking, you may need to replace the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve is in the back section of your refrigerator and will need to be pulled out from the wall and make sure to disconnect both the water and power supply before starting your repair. As per the manufacturer, this valve has a new quick connection. You must cut the retaining nut off your current plastic water line, and gently push it into the new valve.

The water inlet valve is in the back section of your refrigerator and will need to be pulled out from the wall. Make sure to disconnect both the water and power supply before starting your repair. The manufacturer has redesigned the valve; it may appear different than the original. The updated valve has a new quick connection. To install the updated valve, cut the retaining nut off the existing water line and gently push into the new valve. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power and the water supply before starting your repair.
