The upper drum felt glide kit helps to support the front drum as it rotates smoothly and quietly while operating. This kit includes three glides with the adhesive. If your dryer won’t tumble or is noisy, the glide could be worn down causing you to hear a metal on metal noise and will need to be replaced. The drum glide is a genuine OEM part and sold individually. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting your repair.

Lower Front Felt Seal with Adhesive

The lower drum felt seal is used to help the drum glide smoothly on the front panel. If your dryer takes too long to dry or is noisy while the dryer drum is spinning, you may need to replace the seal. The seal measures approximately 47” L x 1” W and the adhesive is included. Please disconnect the power to the dryer before beginning the repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

Front Upper Felt Seal with Adhesive

The upper felt seal for your dryer is attached to the top edge of the drum support area, and is held there by a high temperature adhesive. It creates a seal where the dryer door opens and closes, so that heat remains in the dryer while it tumbles. If your old upper felt seal is coming apart, you notice that hot air is leaking out the dryer door, or your clothes are taking too long to dry, you may need to replace the seal. When you order this part, it comes with the upper felt seal, as well as the required high-temperature adhesive.

This part is the replacement upper front felt seal for your dryer. It is made of felt and is approximately 17 inches long and 1 inch wide. The felt seal allows the drum to glide smoothly on the front panel. If your dryer is noisy, will not tumble, or leaves marks on your clothes after the drying cycle, you may need to replace the upper front felt seal. This part is sold individually, so if you do not have any high-temperature adhesive, you will need to order that as well. Be sure to clean all the residue from your previous felt seal before you install the new one. This ensures a secure fit. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

The gasket is used to help keep in the hot air in the dryer from escaping and to prevent the cool air from entering in to the dryer.

High Temperature Adhesive

The high temperature adhesive is used to create a heat resistant bond between felt seals and rubber gaskets on your appliance. This adhesive is made to withstand hot temperatures. This tube contains one ounce of adhesive. Before starting your repair, it is recommended to wear gloves and ensure that your working area is clean and dry.
