This surface burner terminal block kit comes with interchangeable mounting brackets, ceramic wire nuts, heat shrink protective tubing and wires. This part is used to connect the wire harness to the surface burner element. If your element will not heat at all, or is not heating properly, it is likely an issue with the terminal block and will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. The coil burner element is eight inches in diameter. It has four turns, 220 volts and looped terminal ends. The coil burner element provides heat to the cooking surface on your range. You might need to replace this part if your element is not heating. It might have shorted out around the coil or the terminal block; you can test the coil to see if the burner or the switch may be at fault. Please make sure the power has been disconnected and the element is turned off and had time to cool before starting your repair. The element is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

The 8” coil surface burner element is used to supply heat to the top of the range for cooking. This element carries 2350 watts, and due to an update by the manufacturer is now a 5-turn element. If the element is not providing heat, the switch or element might have gone bad and will need to be replaced. You can use a multimeter to test for continuity to see which part is defective. Please make sure the element is cool before replacing it. This is a genuine OEM surface burner element. Disconnect the power to the range or cooktop before starting the repair.

If your element is not heating, you can test the element for continuity with a multimeter. If the element doesn’t have continuity you will need to replace the element. If it doesn’t have continuity it is suggested to check the element switch because it could be defective and need to be replaced. This element is 1200 watts and is a genuine OEM part. The manufacturer suggests making sure the cooking element is cooled before starting the repair. Please remember to disconnect the power to the appliance before starting the repair.
