Compressor kit (compressor)

This is the mechanics (motor/engine) of the cooling system. It kicks in whenever the thermostat demands cooling. ***NOTE: This part needs to be installed by a trained professional in appliance repair. It requires special tools and knowledge to do so.

Fan motor retainer/bracket (retainer)

Defrost heater assembly (heater)

The defrost heater keeps the cooling coils from frosting over.

Evaporator/drain pan (tray evaporator)

This tray is used to collect the access water from the cooling system to prevent water from leaking on to your floor.

This kit includes the handle and the upper and lower handle extensions.

This part helps protect the motor from overheating. The relay is sold separately.

Filter drier tube (drier-tube)

The filter drier tube with system access port, works in conjunction with your refrigerator by filtering the refrigerant that travels through the seal system of your refrigerator. This part measures approximately 10” long and is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure to disconnect the power before starting the repair. Please note it is recommended to have a service technician install the filter drier tube because it involves recharging and recovering refrigerant in the sealed refrigerant system.
