Heater, defrost (heater)

The heater is located at the bottom of the evaporator. The defrost heater heats the evaporator in the defrost mode of operation. The thermostat must be replaced when replacing the defrost heater.

Sold individually.

Overload and relay assembly (overload)

This kit comes with the compressor relay, overload and cover.

Soleniod assembly (solenoid)

This part consists of a cube and arm that upon activation opens the ice container gate and allows the ice cubes to enter into the chute and into the ice and water dispenser.

Door handle

Graphite colored handle only. Screws are sold separately.

Ice stripper (strips arm)

This part strips ice from the icemaker mold during the ejection cycle to prevent ice pieces from falling back into the mold. Once removed from the mold, the ice pieces are then deposited into the ice bucket ready to be dispensed. If your ice maker is not making any ice you may need to replace this part. The part is white in color and is approximately 9-inch long. The ice stripper is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.

This part is used to hold eggs.

Lower handle extension (extension)

Rear compressor cover (cover unit)

Used to cover up the compressor components.

Strain relief (clip)

Sold individually.

Water line (water tube)

The Water Tube is an OEM component specifically designed for Whirlpool refrigerators. This 1/4" outer diameter water tube provides a pathway for water to flow through the refrigerator's internal components during operations like ice production. This water tube can be cut to fit, is approximately 24 1/2" long.

Washer, plain (washer)

This white icemaker assembly washer is less than an inch long.

Condenser fan blade - steel (fan blade)

This fan blade circulates air over the condenser. It mounts onto the shaft of the condenser fan motor.
