Evaporator fan motor (motor evaporator)

This evaporator fan motor is located in the back of the freezer, and circulates air over the refrigerator coils. These coils will convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated.

Hinge washer (washer)

The hinge washer works in conjunction with the door hinge on the refrigerator door. This part is white in color and measures approximately 0.75” in diameter. If the refrigerator door is making noise opening and closing, you may need to replace this part. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Heater, defrost (heater)

The defrost heater is similar to the burners on an electric stove. It's located just beneath the cooling coils, which are concealed behind a panel in the freezer compartment. The heater gets hot. And, because it's close to the cooling coils, any ice or frost build-up melts.

Refrigerator defrost board (defrost timer)

This device acts like a clock. It continually advances and alternates between activating the cooling cycle and the defrost heater.

Upper door hinge (door hinge)

This hinge is located on the top of the refrigerator.

Refrigerator door bin (bin)

This door bin is for refrigerators and attaches to the inside of the refrigerator door and typically holds jars and bottles.
