Igniter (ignitor)

This part ignites the gas within the dryer. Be sure to not handle this igniter by the gray part as it is very fragile.

Agitator

The agitator is used in top-loading washing machines to help move the clothes around by rotating back and forth through the detergent and water to wash them. If your agitator won’t agitate or is damaged it will need to be replaced. The agitator is approximately 19” tall with a base diameter of about 13”, white in color and made of plastic. The hub has been changed from a hex to a spline. The agitator drive block and cap must be ordered separately. Please remember to disconnect the power and water supply before starting your repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

Agitator drive block (hub, drive)

The agitator drive block works in conjunction with the agitator in your washing machine by rotating the agitator assembly. If your washer is noisy and not agitating, you may need to replace the drive block because it may be worn out. This part is located between the agitator and the transmission shaft, measures approximately 2” long and is made of metal. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power and water supply before beginning your repair.

Spin bearing (bearing, upper spin)

The upper spin bearing works in conjunction with your washer. This part is located on the bottom of the outer tub where the transmission goes up through the middle of the tub. The spin bearing is used to support the transmission shaft in the drive system and allows the transmission shaft to be able to spin freely during the spin cycle. When the spin bearing goes bad it can cause noises during the spin cycle and will need to be replaced. This part is made of metal and is secured by mounting screws. The screws are not included, bearing only. This is a genuine OEM part. Please disconnect the water and power supply before starting the repair.

Upper spin bearing washer (washer)

The upper spin bearing washer works in conjunction with the spin bearing inside your washer. This part sits below the spin bearing. When the spin bearing washer becomes damaged there will be a metal on metal sound meaning it should be replaced. The washer measures approximately 2” in diameter and is sold individually. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the water and power supply to the washer before starting this repair.

Lid strike - white (strike, lid)

This part is used to activate the lid switch when the lid opens/closes.

Water inlet hose assembly (nozzle & hose assy)

The water inlet hose assembly, also known as the fill hose, works in conjunction with your washer by supplying water to the tub during operation. The hose attaches to the water inlet valve and to the main top. If there is no water coming into the tub during the fill or rinse cycle, the hose may be damaged or clogged and will need to be replaced. This hose assembly measures approximately 19” long, is black in color and made of plastic. When replacing the hose please remember to reuse the clamp to secure the hose to the inlet valve and to connect the thermistor wires to the new hose. Disconnect the power and the water supply before beginning this repair. The water inlet hose assembly is a genuine OEM part.

Tension spring (spring)

This spring works in conjunction with the idler pulley.

Direct drive pump (pump, compl)

This pump sucks the water out of your washers tub with one of its valves, and drains the water into a drain hose with the other valve.

Transmission assembly (transmission, complete)

This part aids in the spinning or agitating cycles.

Washer bolt (screw)

Holds plated on Trunion .312-18 x 1.625.
