Defrost thermostat (thermostat includes thermostat and 2 wire nuts (series 13) (non-illus))

This is a temperature sensing mechanism. It can sense the rise in evaporator temperature during a defrost cycle and cycles the defrost heater off after all frost is melted from the coils.

Front crisper seal (seal-frnt crsp (series 13))

This part seals the gap between the crisper shelf glass and frame to stop liquid from spilling into the drawer.

Drawer gear kit (gear (rt))

These parts will attach to your drawer rail and are used to help the drawer glide smoothly.

Ice stripper (stripper, ice (series 13))

This part strips ice from the icemaker mold during the ejection cycle to prevent ice pieces from falling back into the mold. Once removed from the mold, the ice pieces are then deposited into the ice bucket ready to be dispensed. If your ice maker is not making any ice you may need to replace this part. The part is white in color and is approximately 9-inch long. The ice stripper is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.

This part helps regulate the freezer compartment temperature.

Plastic tubing (tube, plastic (series 13))

The water supply tubing is made of plastic and goes between the water inlet valve and the ice maker inlet tube. The tubing is 8 1/2 feet long and 1/4” in diameter. The water supply tubing transports water to the ice and water dispensers. If there is no water going to the ice maker, the refrigerator is leaking, or if the ice and water dispensers are not dispensing properly, you may need to replace the water supply tubing. This is an OEM part directly from the manufacturer. Please remember to shut off the water supply and to disconnect the power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.
