The latch fit perfectly. I was a little surprised how hard it was to simply unplug the old latch. It seemed like I must be missing a release or something. After thoroughly looking it over and checking YouTube it was clear there was nothing more to it than pulling the connections straight out. The old latch basically disinterested but I got the prongs out, plugged them into the new latch and it works perfectly.
