This support washer is located on the drum roller support shaft and it helps prevent the drum roller and pulley from rubbing against the bracket they are attached to. If your dryer is making noises, it may be the support washer becoming loose on the support shaft. The manufacturer suggests replacing the support washers at the same time as the rollers. This is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure you disconnect the power to the dryer before starting your repair.
